Logitech Webcam C270 Christmas Present 2011
My Christmas present this year is a web. Now I have Santa Claus, however, clear instruction for what I wanted to have webcam. For some computer equipment such as mice and keyboards I have a personal preference. This also goes for webcam `s. Now I have quite a lot of computer stuff worn over the years but somehow I always on the mark from Logitech. Partly because the price / quality is always good.
My old webcam with a resolution of 640 x 400 was to be replaced. The new type “Logitech c270″ has a much higher resolution.(1280 at 720) The webcam is neatly packaged in a fairly large box with a thick manual including Dutch. You will also find a CD with drivers for installing. In my case I have not needed because Windows 7 recognized the webcam, Thus plant was fully automatically.
You can also install additional software from Magix and include Logitech Vid, Fast acces, Skype a Yahoo Messenger. If you plan to use this software you can install. Magix is a photo / video editing shareware. This means that after some time you have to pay.
Logitech software needed to use the webcam is very easy. (See Figure). The picture quality is reasonably good call. The web is more suitable for recording video than for taking photos. What I really like, is that less light the quality is still fine.
The web camera C270 is one of the cheapest models from Logitech. The C270 costs around 25 euro. For some euro `s more you can buy better but for Skype video calls and use this fine web to feet.
